Please note that the deadline for abstract submission for the SimBuild
2010 conference in New York City has been extended to December 11.

IBPSA-USA's 4th bi-annual SimBuild conference will be held in NYC August
11-13. The CALL FOR ABSTRACTS is posted and can be accessed at
http://ibpsa.us/simbuild2010/SimBuild2010_Call_For_Papers.pdf .

Abstracts deadline is has been extended to December 11, 2009.

Abstracts may be on a variety of building and environmental simulation
topics, such as:

*Building systems or components modeling

*Algorithms for modeling conventional and innovative HVAC

systems and applications

*CFD applications in buildings

*Weather and building performance

*Case studies that exhibit in-depth use of simulation software

*Simulation software development, validation and quality control

approaches

*Architectural and engineering data visualization and animation

*Optimization approaches in building design

*Modeling occupant behavior

*Modeling on a larger scale - campuses, cities, and stock

modeling

*Modeling for regulation - incentive programs, municipal requirements,

reviewing processes

*Use of models for facility management - calibration and modeling

existing buildings

*Integration of modeling software - multi-stage modeling in

practice

*Daylight modeling and interaction with energy estimation

modeling

Authors should indicate a preference for poster or oral presentation.

The conference organizing committee is also actively seeking

Gonzalez at me.ccny.cuny.edu), SPONSORSHIPS (contact conference chair, info

organized, direct comments to conference chair).
