An updated public release version of eQUEST is available for (free) download at doe2.com. eQUEST v3.65 build 7175 is a more refined version of the beta build 7174.
This release includes options to run the familiar DOE-2.2 simulation engine or DOE-2.3.
The DOE-2.3 engine includes these improvements relative to DOE-2.2:

* Improved design sizing
* Dedicated outside air systems (DOAS)
* Variable refrigerant flow (VRF)
* Hybrid ground-loop systems
* Data center enhancements
* Series chillers, boilers, towers
* Water side economizer improvements
* Underfloor air systems (UFAD)
* And more!
Give it a try - it gets my vote!

P.S. You will want to specify design days to get comparable simulation times to DOE-2.2.

Hey Bill:
Biggest hangup for me in DOE-2.3 before was the inability to model VRF AND domestic hot water in the same run. Has that been resolved? Many of my buildings now have VRF and it has been a pain to model with air source heat pumps.
