Metric project.

I have a job that is designed entirely in metric, including the CAD
files. Can I do the entire model in metric?

Unfortunately, the metric option has not yet been activated in eQuest. DOE-2.1E CAN, however, do such a calculation.
?
We all look forward to this future addition.

Equest may not be very helpful here. You can
always use EE4 - a simple interface to DOE2.1e
that allows full input in metric and converts to
imperial for running the model. I find that EE4
will give just as accurate an answer a equest for
over 90% of the building simulation problems I face. Get it at:

http://canmetenergy-canmetenergie.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/eng/software_tools/ee4.html

Note that EE4 generates the Budget Case for the
MNECB but not for ASHRAE 90.1. As with equest,
you will have to create your own Budget case.

Gentlemen (and Ladies):
?
Is this not a front end for DOE-2.1E, not DOE-2.2 (eQuest front end)?

Yes, as I stated below. If you really need
DOE-2.2 then there is no metric interface as yet.

john,

I would just re-size the autocad floor plans so that they are in IP units.
Then you should be able to work in eQuest. You shouldn't have any problems.
