To whom it may concern,
I am working with a measure, raw weather file.? Has anybody worked with these type of files?? I need to know about the titles of the different weather variables that are registered in the columns.? The titles are the following ones:
1) Temp Out2) Hi Temp3) Low Temp4) Out Hum5) Wind Run
6) Hi Speed7) Hi Dir8) Heat Index9) THW Index10) THSW Index11) Bar12) Solar Rad.13) Solar Energy14) Hi Solar Rad.15) Heat D-D (Is it heating degree days?)16) Cool D-D (Is it cooling degree days?)17) In Temp18) In Hum19) In Dew20) In Heat21) In EMC22) In Air Density23) ET24) Wind Samp25) Wind Tx26) ISS Recept27) Arc. Int.
I know that I need to get the following variables (from the previous ones) for a weather file:
1) Wet bulb temperature2) Dry bulb temperature3) Pressure4) Cloud amount5) Snow flag6) Rain flag7) Wind direction8) Humidity Ratio9) Density of air10) Specific Enthalpy11) Total Horizontal Solar
12) Direct Normal Solar13) Cloud Type14) Wind Speed
Any comment will be highly appreciated!

It looks like what you've got is a statistical summary file (sometimes
called "Climate Normals"), not the actual raw data from a weather
station. It's basically impossible to take such statistical summaries to
create an hourly weather file , which is what you would need for use in
a simulation program such as eQUEST. An actual raw weather file would
show the time stamp (year, date, time, etc.) and have values for
temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, cloud cover, etc., but
almost never solar radiation.

I have been downloading raw weather data from the US National Climatic
Data Center for thousands of stations around the world (including 30 or
so in Mexico), and processing them into weather files that can be used
in simulation programs. Please take a look at my Web site
(http://weather.whiteboxtechnologies.com ) for more details.
