Indoor Air Quality Simulation Software and Application to Aerosol Transport
- IBPSA-USA Education Committee
This two-part presentation introduces the indoor air quality modeling
software CONTAM and the web-based tool FaTIMA for modeling the Fate and
Transport of Indoor Microbiological Aerosols. These publicly available
tools are developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology
(NIST). *Approved for 1 AIA HSW Learning Unit.*

Machine Learning for Daylighting: Predicting Long-term Luminance Maps Using
Deep Neural Networks - IBPSA-USA Research Committee
In this Research Committee talk, we will present a novel data-driven
machine learning approach that makes annual luminance-based evaluations
more efficient and accessible. The methodology is based on predicting the
annual panoramic luminance maps from a limited number of point-in-time high
dynamic range imagery by utilizing a deep neural network (DNN).
