The IBPSA North Texas Chapter would like to invite you to a technical session on daylight simulation and analysis. Paul Ferrer and Saurabh Shrestha from HKS will be presenting and HKS will be hosting in the Dallas office. You can join the web session via Bluejeans (see info below).

Daylight dimming controls are becoming more and more common in commercial buildings and are now required (depending on the compliance path) by the latest energy codes. Designing for good daylight access and energy efficiency can be especially challenging because it involves the confluence of scope from architecture, lighting designers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and energy modelers. How can we design better for daylighting in a practical way? What type of workflows, metrics and expertise do we need? This session will cover these topics and explore some of the project work HKS is doing in the area of daylight design. Please join us.
