Hi All,
What is the best way to model a compressor in?equest.
Equest has several compressors to chose from, but I'm trying to create one that runs on CO2 refrigerant.
Thanks a billion,
Mike
Not sure if someone already responded for you, but for R744/CO2 you can use
the standard DX performance curves that are internal to eQuest, or you can
create your own.
To create your own custom curves (for performance and/or capacity) you will
need to obtain performance data for the R744 compressors at various
operating conditions . You can input data points using one of several
functions eQuest has available.
See image below on where to navigate and experiment. Also, search this
site: http://lists.onebuilding.org/pipermail/equest-users-onebuilding.org/
for performance curve discussions.
Good luck and let us know if you need further assistance!
