Integrated Environmental Solutions Ltd. develops the Virtual Environment, building simulation software, which enables practitioners from the AEC Industry to design high quality and innovative buildings, while minimizing the impact on the environment.
Job Description
Responsible for developing the business in the US mid-west region, the successful candidate will be forming and building relationships with our clients and selling the technical benefits of our range of products and services. The role involves the use of architectural and engineering principles to provide technical software training and pre/post-sales technical support to customers purchasing, implementing, and using the company's proprietary building design and analysis software.
Following a period of training and mentoring, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the role and to reap rewards for their hard work.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate from a technical, engineering or architectural background with a passion for developing new business. Perhaps you have already worked in technical sales, or you come from an engineering or architectural background and are looking to make the move into a more client-facing position.
Essential Skills

* Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering or Masters of Architecture in Building Science
* At least two years' experience working as a mechanical design engineer or in a related AEC building design position
* Outstanding influencing and relationship building skills
* Professional presentation and public speaking skills
* A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
* Ability to develop leads and win sustainable business.
* Construction industry experience
- Sustainable building design
- Awareness of energy regulations (e.g. ASHRAE 90.1, 62.1, 170, 55)
- Awareness of voluntary environmental rating schemes including LEED
- HVAC System Design
Desirable Skills

* Knowledge of the Virtual Environment (VE) software or other mechanical design/analysis software such as Trane TRACE would be an advantage, however full training in our technology will be provided
* Knowledge of other technical AEC software tools/workflows/languages (e.g. Revit, EnergyPlus, Python, etc.)
* Experience of Salesforce CRM software
* Active role in some of the Industry's various organizations (E.g. ASHRAE, IBPSA, USGBC etc.)
This position will require regular travel throughout North America, primarily in the mid-west region. Occasional travel to Europe may also be required.
