[Hap-users] VRF System Part Load Condition

Hi All,

Need your advice on the following:

Our job recently requires us to run energy modelling with part load condition by using VRF system. We realised that Version 4.6 added VRF system as new features. However, we are not sure how to input the various operating conditions to get the part load profile of the equipment. Would anybody be able to advise us how this is done?

Thanks,

Majid,

I understand it to be that HAP has the part load curves built into the
program. How exactly they came up with their curves I'm not sure. So
you will enter in the design capacity of the system and the full load
EER among other things, and at any given hour the part load energy usage
will be calculated based on HAP predetermined part load curves.
