The Great Indoors: Environmental Quality, Health and Wellbeing in a Quarantining Society

1 post / 0 new

Dear Bldg-sim list,

Looking for something to do immediately after the ASHRAE/IBPSA
BPAC/Simbuild conference? Probably not, but the importance of the indoor
environment is more apparent than ever as we spend more time indoors,
work from home, and teach online during COVID-19. Simulation and
prediction of indoor quality plays no small part in this for future
buildings and retrofits. Considering issues of IEQ, health, and disease
transmission indoors, we have organized a panel session as part of this
year's lecture series at the University of Toronto Daniels Faculty of
Architecture... The Great Indoors: Environmental Quality, Health and
Wellbeing in a Quarantining Society
.

Please join us on October 1st, 6:30pm EDT for five expert overviews and
a rousing followup panel discussion on disease transmission,
ventilation, thermal comfort, lighting, and environmental psychology
with a view towards health and wellbeing indoors during the trying times
of COVID-19. All of the details can be found at the link above or in the
summary below.
