Is anybody can confirm me that there's is error in the Equest Library concerning the glass corresponding to the "Glass type code 2662" and the entry name "Double Low-E (e2=.04) Clear".

Once I load the item as a glass type and i check the value of emissivity (Glass Type Properties window / Component Details tab), i should find a Back Emis. of 0.04 for the first layer, am i right? But the problem is that the Back Emis of the first layer still at 0.84.

Do you know how can i change it? I try to set a User Default value without succes...

Thanks ,

Hi Nicolas,

That is a really strange result. I checked glass code 2662 and if you look
at the LV-H report in the .sim file, it looks like the COG U-value is 0.233
Btu/(h-ft?-?F). That matches a similar glass I created in Window6,
(dual-pane argon filled w/ surface 2 e~0.04). So while the input value
looks wrong, what's being simulated and reported in your .sim file look
right.

As a comparison - a dual pane w/ argon and no Low-E in Window6 has U-value
around 0.45 Btu/(h-ft?-?F).

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Alex
