I hosted a tutorial "Python Scripting for Energy Modellers" at the
IBPSA/ASHRAE conference in Atlanta last week -- similar to the one Marcus
Jones and I did last year at the BS2013 Conference in France.

We're releasing the tutorial materials for free download and use -- they're
based on the IPython notebook format:
