Reports: SS-D vs LS-D

Couldn't find this in the archives:

LS-D is the "Building Monthly Loads Summary"

SS-D is the "Building HVAC Load Summary"

What is the difference between these two reports and which one do I use to
size my system?

SS-D had ventilation loads. LS-D are only static loads, with no
ventilation yet. I call LS-D "barn" loads.
