Fellow eQuest users,

I am drawing external glazing in the wizard mode, however, when I exit out
of the wizard mode, the glazing does not show up. I can see the glazing in
the plan view, however, I cant get them to display in 3D View. I am using
eQuest 3.64. Has anyone faced similar issues?

Generally this issue will occur if you change the foot print area or
floor/ceiling heights and other parameter related to windows. Please ensure
that you are not changing any values once you customize the windows.

Thanks

This problem always occurs when some windows exceeds the wall.Check your window width and height of your window and ensure that window Height + window sill < Wall hieght and Window X+Window width < wall width.

Dear Shilpa,

This may occur if your model is quite big or heavy.
It can be so as the building model is quite heavy so the eQUEST is sometime
incapable to let you view the glazing.
Sometimes its eQUEST's limitation.
So the remedy can be just try to have a right click aloof of the building
structure and click reset camera.
If this also does not help then try going to different tabs like internal
loads or air and water side tabs and return to building shell and repeat
reset camera.
Hope this may help.Just go in a hit and trial for views. If this does not
help then may be there can be other issues.

Dear Shilpa,

If you have followed the previous recommendations and still nothing, make
sure that in your shell, the zones that you have drawn are in fact inside
(or right on) the footprint (the shell). If the zone goes out of the shell,
then it will cover the external walls and you will not see them in the 3D
view. You might have to look at coordinate values in the shell drawing menu
and the zone drawing menu to make sure everything is aligned.

Hope this helps.
