Dear All,
I have a constant volume 100% outside air evaporative cooler for a kitchen.
The CFM is 4500. So I set the design flow rate 4500 and outside air flow
4500. When I performed simulation, the simulation was terminated due to
errors. However, there is no error shown in the list of errors. In
addition, if I increase the design flow rate above the outside air flow
rate 4500, then this problem will be gone.
Did anyone have this problem before? How could I fix it?
Thank you!

Thank you Brian. It turns out that the supply CFM cannot be smaller than
the exhaust.

Hi Jing,
Your screen shots show that you have entered flowrates for the system supply flow, zonal supply flow, zonal outside air and zonal exhaust flow. The error is caused by the zonal exhaust flow being greater than the entered system supply flow. You have also selected ?Track Exhaust Flow? which requires the air handler to supply at least as much air as the exhaust requirement. You can do any of the following to eliminate the error:
1.) Let the system supply flow rate default (leave the input field empty). The system will be sized to match the zone exhaust flow (or possibly higher).
2.) Enter the system supply flow rate to be at least as much as the zone exhaust flow rate.
3.) Set the zonal exhaust to ?No Airflow Tracking? and the EXHAUST-SOURCE to something other than ?Air Handler?.

Thank you Bill. I revised the exhaust flow rate setting based on your
advise, and it works!
