I want to change the fan schedule from on/off to fraction in order to reduce the cooling consumption. But I am getting this error.

Schedules exist in multiple parts: Annual, week schedule(s), day schedule(s). Changing just one part (a day or week schedule) to another type will throw a lot of errors because they all need to be of a consistent type (Fraction vs. ON/OFF).

Since your schedule looks relatively simple at the moment, It?s probably easiest to simply start a new annual/week/day schedule of the Fractional type from scratch, or copying an existing fractional system type (and all child components) to get each piece started in one action for edits.

Note also the freely available spreadsheet tool EMIT is something to be aware of for anyone with a heavy amount of custom scheduling work. Can make eQUEST schedule setups of any sort a relative breeze if you have a cluster to do at once or wish to do something as granular as an 8760 hourly schedule.
