Hello,

How can I gather information on a building?s carbon emissions using eQuest?

Maria - an accurate estimate of carbon emissions is not just a factor of on-site energy usage, but also the source production. So it depends a lot on the fuel mix for your power provider. The EPA has a power profiler tool that should help you with this:

Another useful tool is the Greenfoot spreadsheet tool. It allows you to compare a baseline & proposed case with carbon content based on state profiles. It can downloaded at the following address:

Does anyone have any guidance on how to include steam humidification in
eQuest? The project has dedicated steam boilers to provide
humidification, with a separate LTHW loop for heating, but I can't find
a way to model that accurately. I would appreciate any thoughts on how
this might be modelled.

cheers,
