Hello, All,

The Energy Center of Wisconsin is holding another eQUEST training seminar May 4-5. Day 1 covers the wizards and Day 2 covers the Detailed Interface. You may attend either day or both days.

This time we are adding an informal session the evening of Day 1 to discuss specific projects or questions you may have that we simply don't have time for during the class period.

For details go to http://www.ecw.org/university/ecuonlocation.php.

All,

Is there a rule of thumb for using modeled site energy to indicate -
calculate LEED points? For example 52 kBtu/ft2 equals 6 points

Thanks for any thoughts.

Kind Regards,

It pretty much depends on the baseline model and building type.

I don't want to give you the idea that knowing the site EUI at 52 kBtu/ft2/yr can't be useful, but off-hand I wouldn't use that to differentiate between 5 points or 6 points for example. If you know how typical buildings of your type perform you might be able to estimate in 3 or 4 point ranges, or some similar resolution.
