Dear All,
In my condenser water loop ie CW loop under basic
specificatiob tab there are two parameters design CHW temperature and loop
design delta T

Does these two parameters represent condenser water inlet temparature and
range of cooling tower which is (condenser inlet- condenser outlet)
respectively.?

Yeah ? the CHW temp is the design temp in the condenser loop. The delta T is the temp rise in the loop between return and supply.

Also ? if you ever wondered what a certain item means in eQUEST ? hover your mouse over it and it will give you some basic information. If you right click ? you can go to item specific information or general topic information too.

The functionality that Vikram mentions ? hovering the mouse over an input field to see basic information ? has to be enabled in the eQUEST initiation file.

You have to use a text editor to add the following line to the EQUEST.INI file:
ShowBDLComKeyInToolTip=1

This file is in the eQUEST data folder, the location of which is easily found by selecting Tools -> View File Locations -> View eQUEST Data Directory?

Additional directions are found in the RMI Model Manager Set Up and User?s Guide, courtesy of Ellen Franconi at RMI.
