EPW weather file format changed in the last few months?

Hello,
While working with EPW weather files recently, I noticed that the file
format has changed within the past 2 months. I compared two files for
the same location I had downloaded a month apart (September and October
2009). The October file has 3 new columns of information. Does anyone
know what that additional information is? A updated list of headers
would be nice too.

This format change would affect some third party programs like Climate
Consultant 4 (and maybe Ecotect/ weather tool) which use EPW file input.

Thanks.

Fields for precipitation were added. See the documentation in the Auxiliary Programs guide on the EnergyPlus website: www.energyplus.gov
