Mild Rant here ? I am more frequently running into issues with eQuest completely destroying the formatting (and usability) of the SIM file. ?Restarting? isn?t consistently fixing the issue either.
So, I undertook an effort to install the old 3.65 v7163 along with the newer v7173 ? what a nightmare. I have followed both William/Bill and Nick?s previous steps ? no luck. The older 7163 installed files are deleted when the new 7173 is installed.

Renaming the .exe file also causes issues. Any other ideas on how to ?hide? the old install so the new install doesn?t remove the files?

OR, any ideas on when this issue might be re-refixed and this two flavors of 3.65 version madness can end?

For now, going back to just the old 7163 ? because it just works.
