I?m not a fan of popularity contests, though I can?t help but notice eQuest is doing pretty well without marketing forces to rally the troops (except for Daric ? kudos to this guy)!
Still, when I consider my selfish interests in relation to the eQuest/doe2 simulation platform?:
? I?d like to see more learning/training resources developed for our end-user base
? I?d like to see more 3rd party tools & processes developed with doe2/eQuest support in mind
? I?d like to see expanded capabilities developed for the doe2 engine and supported by the eQuest interface (& I gather the frequency/depth of such updates are influenced in some measure by funding/resources decisions for development, in turn informed by such ?user-base? polling)
? It would be just a little bit satisfying to see team eQuest/doe2 blow past the competition with our typically ?silent majority? =).
I guess I?ll join Daric?s cheer squad and at least voice my support! Go team go !
