CanQuest Crashing

I'm building, what i think is a fairly straight forward shell, there's a combination of flat and pitched roofs which I modeled using different shells for each, and then deleted the adjacent walls between shells. I think my zones will be odd, but everything is going to be conditioned by 1 system because it's a small building, so I don't believe there's an issue there.

HOWEVER, everytime I try to adjust a window or delete a wall, I can get 2 things done then the program crashes. I can reload, do 2 more things, save then it will crash. So I can keep moving forward but it's slow. When I load the model or run a simulation I get no errors.

Anyone else have this problem?

I can upload my model if anyone wants a look.

apparently, from reading other posts, adding multiple shells really bogs down a file because creating multiple shells in the wizard creates separate schedules for each, like lighting and occupant schedules. From what I've read - anything over 5 shells is a burden, anything over 10 is impossible.
