Dears;I will appreciate if someone can share the *.inp file containing 90.1-2007 baseline roof and steel-framed wall constructions for ASHRAE climate zones.Thanks;Sherif

I am having hard times importing the data, I am using eQuest 3.65-Build 7175, and when importing the file nothing shows up, I opened the inp file using text editor and for me it looks okay; am I doing something wrong? will appreciate your advice.Thanks;Sherif

Hi Sherif,

You can copy materials, layers & constructions from file shared by Javed and paste in your .INP file below materials, layers & constructions respectively.
Save INP file and open your model once again without saving eQUEST model or you can save INP file and open the model from INP file. It will work.

Those inp snippets are very handy. When you change climate zones just increase the insulation layer thickness to achieve the correct overall U-value.
