About Roof Conduction value in detailed Output file

Dear All,

We are modelling a building having different zones - conditioned, and
underroof zones. The building is equipped with DX system for cooling only.
The conditioned zone is connected to the underroof by air wall construction.

The detailed output file, Report LS-B (Space peak load components) of
conditioned zone, shows Roof Conduction = 0.0 kW. It is noticed that value
of conduction load through the roof appears for the zone - underroof. The
day/time at which peak cooling loads are different for both the zones.

The screenshots are as follows:

Conditioned zone
Underroof zone (Roof absorptivity = 0.7)

Query:

It is noticed that DX system total capacity reduces if roof with lower
absorptivity (0.2 as against 0.7) is given as input. But the conditioned
zone peak cooling load remains the same i.e. 161.682 kW.

Why does the peak cooling load remains same even if low absorptivity roof is
used ?
