Nonresidential MECH Report

I have created an EnergyPro model for a non residential TI job. The model runs and generates a report. However, on the MECH-3-C report, there are no CFM values under the column I (Design Vent. Air CFM). Instead there are numbers under column N (transfer air).

How should I change my model so it gives values under column I? I have tried everything I know.

I'll try to help on this, but I've never used Energy-pro. However, I understand it's engine, so I think I can guess the problem.

Did you specify ventilation values? It sounds like you may have just specified exhaust. Sorry I can't give you specifics on where to enter this, but that's the first thing I'd check in any program if I had a similar problem.

Energy pro, uses the DOE2 engine. I think it uses DOE 2.1 currently.

Hello Bob. My company was just awarded an energy modeling contract for a hotel in NYC that is trying to go for LEED. We use EnergyPro, but from what I gathered Epro does not model Co generation plants. I was wondering if you had any wisdom to bestow on a newbie regarding energy modeling software packages that can model cogeneration plants & and a game plan. I have been searching online all over the internet for a guide on this, and I cannot seem to find any information on this.

I'm sure there are others, but TRACE 700 and eQUEST both model cogeneration. TRACE 700 actually makes it really easy (well, assuming you can ever call cogeneration easy).

Experienced eQUEST users can model cogeneration, but it's not for a beginner.

Energyplus can model it, but you need to be an expert.
