sustainable/renewable design and a working knowledge of HVAC/lighting
systems and commercial building controls, and have a degree in

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Utilize computer energy simulation programs (primarily EQuest) to
analyze building systems performance and various energy conservation
measures.
* Read architectural drawings and input building geometry into building
simulation program.
* Prepare written analysis of findings and participates in presenting
recommendations for improvement in energy efficiency.
* Works closely with project engineer and project manager to meet
project deadlines.
* Performs other duties as required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILL LEVEL:
* Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Excellent task management and problem solving skills
* Strong analytical and report writing skills
* Ability to develop spreadsheet analysis for a variety of energy
efficiency measures
* Familiarity with energy analysis software (e.g. DOE-2, EnergyPlus,
EQuest) is a plus.
* Good working knowledge of HVAC, lighting, motors, and refrigeration
systems
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and be responsible for individual
task completion
* Excellent organizational skills
* Good computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel
