*Survey: Formation of Madison Chapter of IBPSA-USA*
Personal note from Mathew Duffy of IES: "With the rich history, culture,
and research from the Madison area, ideas have been expressed to begin a
local IBPSA Madison chapter. I am writing to gauge the level of interest
for a chapter in the Madison area and also to get the wheels in motion to
start a chapter if there is enough interest."

IBPSA-USA was late entering the awards game. The first plaques were
presented in 2004 to Fred Winkelman and Dan Nall at the SimBuild conference
in Boulder, Colorado. Since that ceremony, their peers in excellence have
been recognized every two years at SimBuild gatherings.

establish better communication between IBPSA-USA members and the government
and utility decision makers that influence how building performance
simulation is used in our industry.

IBPSA-USA offers a growing library of educational videos and webinars, and
online access is currently*free for IBPSA-USA members*. Members who sign up
or renew before October 1, 2018 will continue to receive free access at the
current dues of $45 per year for the term of their membership, which may be
up to two years. *So sign up or renew today!*
Starting on October 1, 2018 the total cost of IBPSA-USA membership and
video access will be $100 per year. The IBPSA-USA Board of Directors
determined that the increase is necessary to help sustain this service to
the industry. They hope that you agree that this is a modest cost for a
valuable resource.
