daily weather conditions

As someone who has advocated for and used the eQ_WthProc a few times to good effect, I?ll also add that this particular weather visualization and format conversion toolset is IMHO superseded by another free option, ELEMENTS: http://bigladdersoftware.com/projects/elements/.

These two options mirror each other in functionality, but ELEMENTS is a relative breeze to install/execute, and offers a deeper/broader set of immediate visualization options for QC. I think the DOEWth processor also hosted at http://doe2.com/index_Wth.html has additional conversion functionalities.

I would use none of the above tools however to visualize something I already have loaded into an eQUEST model. Good advice = to use the GLOBAL custom hourly reporting variables to pull whatever set of weather file conditions you want to see and punch that out in a simulation. Combining that with other custom hourly outputs allows you to quickly scatterplot exterior conditions vs. useful metrics like specific fan/system/plant equipment operations/outputs to have your eQuest model tell you stories you won?t find in the default interface.

How can outside weather conditions, such as dry bulb temperature for a day be known in eQuest?
