I'm new to equest and I'm trying to model a fairly simple 4 story building,
the top 3 floors all have the same floor plan but the bottom floor has a
different floor plan. I have been trying to figure out if/how I can create
two different zone patterns without success. It seems like there should be
a way to do this but I can't figure it out. Does anyone else know if this
is possible, and if so how to do it?

You can do it in the DD wizard (as opposed to the SD wizard). It gives
you the option to create a second shell.

Do this in the Design Development Wizard (DD Wizard). This wizard allows you to build floor by floor zoning.
