control strategies in energyplus

Dear colleagues:

I'm trying to guess how HVAC control works in energyplus. Currently I'm
trying to simulate a building with 8 zones with a low radiant heating &
cooling system. I have a doubt:

In Zone:HVAC:LowTemperatureRadiant:VariableFlow objects there are
Temperature Control Type (let's assume is operative temperature) ,
throttling ranges (which relates temperature around setpoint with water
flow) and control setpoint Schedules names. Are the three types of
temperatures the same? I mean, if control type is operative temperature,
does throttling range refer to operative temperature, and is the temperature
expressed in setpoint Schedules compared to current operative temperature in
the control device?

I ask this because in the example "RadLoTempHydrCtrlOpt2.idf" , there is
THE SAME heating setpoint temperature schedule (12 C from 7h to 17h and 17C
the rest of the day) for the three existing zones ,but in one zone
temperature control type is mean air temperature, other is outdoor drybulb
temperature and the last one is outdoor wetbulb temperature.

Does this mean that, for example at 12h, in the first zone the system
compares setpoint schedule (12C) with *mean air temperature* and throttles
water flow according to throttling range , in zone 2 the system compares
setpoint schedule (12C) with *outside drybulb temperature* and throttles
water flow according to throttling range and finally in zone 3 the system
compares setpoint schedule (12C) with *outdside wetbulb temperature* and
throttles water flow according to throttling range?

Thanks in advance.
