I have a building in which some spaces are open to sky.In building
footprint we can trace only the outer boundary of our plan.So, how to deal
with these open spaces?Is there a way to create the annular footprint or I
have to do something else?

I think you can just do your zoning in the DD wizard, then eventually go to the Detail Edit mode, remove the roofs, and make the adjoining walls external rather than internal. You may need to add some self shading as well.
It should work.

If the zoning is simple, such as only one open area, you may also make a zone or zones that stretches around leaving a hole in the middle, such as this single-zone plan below:

Or this could be two ?U? shaped zones against each other, leaving a void. Either way works, this way the walls will all be exterior to start with except the one common wall.
