IBPSA-England is organising the third Building Simulation and Optimization Conference (BSO2016) in Newcastle University in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. The conference will take place from 12-14th of September 2016 in the Great North Museum. The first conference in Loughborough University and the second conference in UCL, were a major success and the participants' numbers continue to significantly rise. The main conference themes are :

? Progress in simulation tools and optimization methods

? Application of environmental and sustainability modelling to case studies

? New directions in building environmental modelling including BIM and visualization methods

? Progress in modelling micro-urban environments
